The Piper Farm

I have a few very good friends whose family owns this awesome farm and allowed me to shoot there. I wanted the images to have a vintage feel and I am also trying out a new lighting kit which I am super excited about!

Rosa Mexicano

I shot the opening of the new Rosa Mexicano restaurant. The space is pretty cool and the food is awesome. Everyone loves a mariachi band!

Cute kids are cute

I have a full-time job and I love it. I also love personal creative time which allows me to do the other things that fulfill me. ONE of those "other things" is photographing cute kids. Here is a pick:

Toilet Humor never gets old

I've been thinking about this simple idea for quite some time. Taking a photo of my toilet from the view of a guy taking a pee. Then, printing and framing it right above the toilet so that the view downward is the same, or similar, to the upward:) I think I need to re-do it as I was rushing it, knowing that I needed to go to the photo center that day soon to grab the card reader I left there. That's were I print all my stuff. It's the small things that makes it all worth it.....

The Fireman

This is also one of my favorite photos:) This was a fireman getting suited up to go into a house burning. The whole thing was burned down because it was a training session. I had front row seats and loved it!

Tub Dish Washing

Well, it's that time of year when the drain pipes in the kitchen can't take it anymore and stop doing the work they were put here to do. What a bummer..... but with any sour circumstance, there is always a fabulous opportunity to get creative;=) Washing dishes in the bathtub is so fun..... Well, at least it's more fun than dealing with the plumbing part. My husband borrowed this thing called BAAM! (As See on TV) from our next door neighbor and gave that baby a blast into the drain. BAAM! As I was washing the dishes, I heard a couple f'n himers and a stomping towards the bathroom. My husband appears with a dirty, wet face. The drain threw up all over him. Poor guy.... Thanks babe for taking one for the team. After that, we decided that this job needs a professional and called the trusty Plumber Jordan to take care of it. Maybe he can bring his wife to do the rest of the dishes...

Women in Business

I am so glad that we as women no longer have to wear skirts and nylons to work.....  I saw this image on the side of a truck today and thanked god that I don't or didn't have to live in that world. So funny that someone put that on a truck these days seeing that it is so not what the working woman looks like anymore. Look at that computer and filing system!

Driving and Seeing

I decided that I will post pictures that I take while driving around. These are two things that I love..... I love to drive so that I can experience and see new things that I like, don't like and inspire - I also love to take pictures of these things and thought I would share them with you:)

Out take Loves

Oh what fun it is to be a teen. My step-daughter had a sleepover recently and the trend is to build really cool forts. Like Really Cool Forts! We then conjured up that I would photograph an editorial series on all the fun. This was a out take that may not be so glamorous but of who she is which is even better:)
